Launched in 2006, Dolce and Gabbana’s The One’s (the original) design exudes Glamour whilst maintaining a Modern style with a touch of high Couture and Elegance.
Fragrances have 3 main scent know as Notes; Top, Middle/Heart and Base. Each Note has their own individual purpose within the perfume, so when blended together create the overall fragrance for the perfume.
Top Notes – The immediate fragrance upon application of a perfume, top notes don’t last very long and evaporate quickly. Forming the initial impression of a perfume, top notes need to be strong in scent and thus are extremely important in the selling of the perfume.
Heart/Middle Notes – This scent emerges just before the top notes completely disappears, becoming more pleasant with time, the scent of middle note tends to be more ‘mellow’ and not as ‘sharp’ as the Top Note.
Base Note – The Base and Middle notes together form the overall full body of a fragrance for a perfume. With the Base notes adding depth and richness to the perfume, providing the final impression. This is the last scent which is noticed from a perfume.
Dolce and Gabbana – The One
Top Note: Peach and Lychee
Heart: Jasmine and Lily
Base Note: Vanilla and Musk with a slight sweetness of Plums
Long-lasting fragrance ranging from 7 – 9 hours with 2 spritz.
To date ‘The One’ is one of my all-time favourite fragrances, as soon as I run out I immediately repurchase another. This perfume has a Deep overall Aroma of Musk and Vanilla, whilst maintaining a sweet Peachy allure with a long-lasting scent. Retailing between £44 -£72 depending on size. This is a fantastic fragrance for lovers of Peach and deep Vanilla scents, bold, rich, yet inoffensive. Dolce and Gabbana – The One for Women exudes Elegance and Sophistication.
